Naiyaandi is a 2013 Indian Tamil comedy film written and directed by A. Sarkunam. the film features Dhanush and Nazriya in the lead roles. According to sources, the movie is the romantic love story between a Kuthu Vilaku shop owner and a BDS student.
Music for the film is scored by Ghibran of 'Vaaga Sooda Vaa' and Vathikuchi' fame. Dhanush has sund a song for his upcoming film Naiyaandi. Ghibran is scoring music for the film. Dhanush has tweeted singing a song for Naiyaandi. ths film to be released on 11 october 2013.

Talking to TOI, Sarakunam said. Yes, Dhanush has agreed to play the lead in my next film and has signed up for the project though we are yet to confirm the producer. The film which was earlier titled as Sotta Vazhakutty has now been titled as Niyaandi. While the names of Amala paul, Samantha and Hansika motwani were being floated around at various stages of the film's pre-production the film maker has finally zeroed in on Nazriya Nazim. a child actress turned heroin in Mollywood, to pair opposite Dhanush. Director Sarkunam has started the film on February 13 with other artists and Dhanush joined the shoot from February 21.
